Why not juat use it and then pay the pro rate only once you've posted 1000 images?įlickr Pro has their Uploadr app for Mac and PC which may change your rate of importing to Flickr. Despite the fact that I've been on it for going on 5 years and I feel like I've uploaded a lot of images, I'm still a few hundred away from hitting that 1000 limit. I can't guess how quickly I would use Flickr's 1000 photo limit as I'm only going to put my better/best photos on Flicker, but maybe the Pro version for $49 is worth it?

Today Flickr 4.0 is rolling out across the web, iOS, Android, PC, and Mac. The upload stage takes maybe 2 seconds, so there's something on. The Flickr Uploader is a Yahoo widget (formerly Konfabulator) that allows you to upload images to the Flickr photo-sharing service. This newer app is 'Processing' photos at the rate of one every 30-40 seconds at best, when I easily could get every 5-10 seconds on the previous version. I like what I've seen on Flickr.especially how the camera and EXIF data is available. IMO the previous iteration of the uploader, as buggy as it was, at least uploaded photos quickly.
